There is nothing more heartbreaking than losing a dog and it happens so easily. A gate left open or a hole dug under a fence can have your dog out and running in no time. If they get scared and lost, you may never get them back if you haven't taken the proper precautions. Dogs that are microchipped and wearing id tags have a better chance of finding their way home.
